Rotur Light Duty Rotating Centre 1MT

The Rotur mini drive centres are suitable for all types of spindle work. The head is 9mm in diameter and is protrudes further from the morse taper and with a narrower shaft than traditional drive centres. The Centre point protrudes further than the prongs for quick and easy alignment. The sharp point and prongs can easily penetrate the timber for a secure grip. The 4-prong head is more suited for squared spindle ends so each prong has equal penetration in the timber for maximum grip. The Centres are easily removed from the lathe with the Rotur knockout bar (TKO265).

Rotur Hollow Ring Centre has a 5/8 diameter head with 5/16 bore. When the centre point is removed, it can facilitate the boring of long holes. The sharp ring centre prevents wood from splitting and can be used as a tail centre. It is supplied complete with the removable point centre and a hex key.

Rotur Hollow Ring Centre 1MT

The Rotur Deluxe Rotating Centre is well suited for turning small and intricate work. The main body remains stationary in the tailstock while small point turns. The angle of the point is 60 degrees, and measures 12mm in diameter. Using the Rotur Detachable Ring Centre is a quick and inexpensive way to convert a 60 degree rotating centre to a rotating ring centre. Doing this helps prevent the wood from splitting due to the pressure of the point. The Rotur Detachable Ring Centre fits snugly over any 60 degree point and self-centres when the tailstock is tightened.
