This contactless voltage detector is ideal for use in conjunction with Rothenberger® electrical pliers. The E-Detector features a visible LED indicator that detects voltage from 90 - 1000V AC. The product does not require contact with the Device Under Test (DUT) in order to detect voltage for maximum safety. This is ideal for visual testing, but for verification of a live-circuit a 2 pole voltage tester should be used. The E-Detector offers user protection up to 1000 V and has been tested up to 10,000 V according to DIN EN/IEC 60900.
