Blue Horizons pH Minus granules enables you to reduce your pools pH to the ideal pool pH level, which is between 7.2 - 7.6, promoting bather comfort, optimum chemical efficiency and protection of pool plant equipment. Test the pH of your pool water if it is above 7.6, use pH minus to reduce it. 
 Blue Horizons pH Minus Granules Application Instructions: 1. Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10ls) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned 'on', preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution. 2. After a minimum of 8 hours, recheck the pH level and if necessary repeat the treatment until the ideal pH is established. Please note a number of treatments may be required.

Blue Horizons Granular Shock Chlorine is a calcium hypochlorite granular shock chlorine can be used as part of your winterising programme for your outdoor pool. Granular Shock Chlorine is a highly concentrated chlorine used to shock your swimming pool water on a regular basis, usually this should be done every 2 weeks or more frequently during hot weather, or if your pool water has turned green. Granular Shock Chlorine is very effective at restoring sparkling water from algae infestation. Granular Shock Chlorine can be added through the skimmer. Also use this product if the pool has been neglected or algae growth has appeared on the floors and walls of the pool, or there has been an exceptionally high bather load. Equivalent to Shock Xtra, Rapid Shock. Helps prevent and remove algae. Destroys swimmer wastes. May be used for regular disinfection. pH 11.5. Part of the BOAST system. 
 How to apply chlorine shock granules: 1- Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 -7.6. If the level is not in this range, adjust. 2- Maintain free chlorine residuals routinely in the 1 -3mg/l (ppm) range. Shock or oxidising procedures are recommended either weekly or fortnightly with a maximum of 10mg/l (ppm) for a full shock treatment. 3- Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product for 2.2 gallons (10 litres) of water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump is turned on preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution. 4- Repeat dose/application if necessary to achieve the desired level. 5- After using this product, pool water may become temporarily cloudy, so keep the filtration pump running until it clears. 6- After shock treatment, allow the chlorine to drop below 5mg/l before bathing recommences, and in any event wait for at least 30 minutes! Always test your water AFTER dosing and PRIOR to bathing.

Granular Shock Chlorine 5kg

Blue Horizons 200g Chlorine Tablets are an easier way of maintaining chlorine levels in your pool water, 200g chlorine tablets are placed in the skimmer, floating dispenser or chlorine feeder (trichlorinator). When dosed via the skimmer the tablet(s) will dissolve slowly over a 3 to 4 day period, the rate at which they dissolve will vary depending upon water flow and temperature. They have a high level of available chlorine and contain chlorine stabiliser.

  Blue Horizons 200g Chlorine Tablets Application Instructions: 
  Floating Dispenser: Fill the Trichlor floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1-3mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1-3mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the pool whilst swimmers are bathing. 
  Chlorine Feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels. 
  General precautions:  - Never mix with other chemicals including household cleaners as a dangerous reaction may occur. 
  Handling/Storage: Important - see Risk and Safety phrases below.  - Handle products in a well ventilated area - preferably outdoors.  - Wash hands after use.  - Ensure chemicals do not become damp in storage - store in a cool dry place.

Instructions

Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2–7.6. If the level is not in this range, adjust.
Maintain total alkalinity within the ideal range of 80–150mg/l(ppm).If the level is not in this range, adjust.
Maintain chlorine levels within the ideal range 1–3mg/l(ppm). If the level is not in this range, adjust.
Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallon (10 litres) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution evenly over the whole water surface with the filtration in recirculation mode (not filtration).
Run filtration in recirculation mode for 30 minutes then turn pump off.
Keep filtration off and leave the pool undisturbed for 12–24 hours to allow debris to settle to the bottom of the pool.
Carefully vacuum settled debris to waste.

Kibbled Aluminium Sulphate sinks unwanted debris to the pool floor creating clear sparkling water. Once the particles have settled on the pool floor they should be vacuumed to waste. Alternatively, dose pre-filter via a tank and pump system to improve filter efficiency. This product should only be used in pools with sand filtration. . Kibbled Aluminium Sulphate, commonly known as alum is a hard crystalline solid or powder that is soluble in water. It contains around 17% alumina (Al2O3). It is manufactured in a simple process from aluminium trihydrate and sulphuric acid. 
  Kibbled Aluminium Sulphate Uses: - Kibbled Aluminium Sulphate is used in water purification. As a mordant in dyeing and printing textiles. In water purification, it causes impurities to coagulate which are removed as the particulate settles to the bottom of the container or more easily filtered. - Kibbled Aluminium Sulphate is sometimes used to reduce the pH of garden soil. The gardener can add Aluminum sulfate to the soil to reduce the pH level which in turn will result in the flowers of the Hydrangea turning a different color (see below). - Kibbled Aluminium Sulphate is the active ingredient of some antiperspirants. - In construction industry it is used as waterproofing agent and accelerator in concrete. - In paper making the alum reacts with rosin sizes of various types, helping to attach the newly formed rosin aluminates to fibres. Sizing makes the paper water resistant. - It is also used in styptic pencils. - It can also be very effective as a molluscide, killing spanish slugs. Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer can be used to lower Chlorine or Bromine levels in swimming pool water after shock treatment procedures or as a problem solver if the pool has been accidentally 'overdosed' with chlorine or bromine. 
 Blue Horizons Chlorine Reducer Application Instructions: 1 - Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10 litres) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned "on", preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution. 2 - If applying after shock treatment, allow a minimum of 8 hours for shock chlorination to oxidise swimmer wastes from water before application. 3 - Measure the free chlorine/total bromine level in the water, then using the dosing table below, calculate the total amount required. 4 - Split this total amount into 4 smaller doses. Apply each 1/4 dose, allowing time to thoroughly circulate (2-3 hours for commercial pools, 6-8 hours for domestic pools) before re-testing chlorine/bromine level and if necessary adding further doses.

Blue Horizons JellyClear Cubes are clarification gel blocks offered in single use JellyClear Cube presentation pack. The JellyClear Cube improve filtration efficiency by coagulating debris and "tightening" the filter bed. Easy and safe to use in skimmers or weirs, each gel block treats up to 50,000 litres (11,000 gallons) for up to 2 weeks.  JellyClear Cubes Application Instructions: 
 
 Ensure algae is pre-treated (previous 24 hours) to release algae from walls, prior to using JellyClear Cubes. Adjust pH to desired range of 7.2 - 7.6. 
 Backwash the filter (or clean the cartridge) and then return to the normal filtration setting prior to use. 
 Peel off the protective plastic film and insert the JellyClear Cubes direclty into the pump strainer basket OR the skimmer/weir basket. 
 JellyClear Cubes will dissolve over a period of 3 - 4 days depending on water flow from the filtration cycle. However, this duration cycle is not significant as the active ingredients have a long lasting residual effect beyond thier disappearance.

Blue Horizons Flockfix Cartridges are designed to assist the filter in removing small suspended particles to ensure sparkling clear water. They can also help remove copper, iron & manganese from pool water. 
 Blue Horizons Flockfix Cartridges Application Instructions: 1. Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 - 7.6. Adjust if necessary. 2. Maintain total alkalinity within the ideal range of 80 - 150 mg/l (ppm). Adjust if necessary. 3. Maintain chlorine levels within the ideal range 1 - 3 mg/l (ppm). Adjust if necessary. 4. Flockfix Cartridges 125g 8X125G

AquaSparkle Spa TA Plus is a measurement of the waters ability to resist pH change. If the total alkalinity is low then the pH can fluctuate making it difficult to control and maintain at the ideal level. If the total alkalinity is high then the pH can be difficult to change and will keep rising. 
 A high total alkalinity can also lead to the formation of a bicarbonate scale on spa surfaces, within pipework and support equipment. 
 If the total alkalinity of your spa water is below 80mg/l it should be increased using AquaSparkle Spa T.A. Plus, the table below indicates the dosage quantities required: 
  AquaSparkle Spa TA Plus Dose Rates: To Increase TA in 1,000 Litres by 10mg/l requires 18g of TA Plus To Increase TA in 1,000 Litres by 25mg/l requires 45g of TA Plus To Increase TA in 1,000 Litres by 50mg/l requires 90g of TA Plus 
 If the total alkalinity of your spa water is above 150mg/l then AquaSPArkle Spa pH Minus can be used to lower it. When applying Spa pH Minus to lower total alkalinity levels, the product should be predissolved and then ‘slug’ dosed (dumped) into one area of the spa. The dose rates are indicated below: 
  AquaSparkle Spa TA Plus Dose Rates: To reduce TA in 1,000 Litres by 10mg/l requires 24g of pH Minus granules. To reduce TA in 1,000 Litres by 25mg/l requires 60g of pH Minus granules. To reduce TA in 1,000 Litres by 50mg/l requires 120g of pH Minus granules.

Blue Horizons Stabilised Chlorine Granules are multifuntional granules are a new and improved version of the standard chlorine granules These granules still offer the dose rate flexibility, fairly neutral pH value and chlorine stabilisation but also now include clarifiers and extra oxidisers to help improve water quality and clarity.

Blue Horizons Waterline Cleaning Paste is a superb blend presented in a pot with sponge applicator for stubborn dirt and grease removal. It is a highly effective cleaning paste used to clean body oils, fats and grease that form tide marks around waterlines. Waterline cleaning paste can be used on concrete, tiled, fibreglass and vinyl liner pool surfaces. 
  Blue Horizons Waterline Cleaning Paste 350g Application Instructions: 1 - Lower the pool water level to expose the area to be cleaned. 2 - Use protective gloves and apply waterline cleaning paste using a suitable soft clean sponge (as provided) or brush or cloth. Wet the applicator before using the paste. 3 - Apply to the area to be cleaned and wait for at least 2 minutes (this compound adheres to wall surfaces), then gently rub to clean. 4 - Wash down cleaned surface area after use, with water.

Blue Horizons 4-Way Chlorine test strips provide a quick and easy way to test your swimming pool water. They offer tests for free chlorine, pH and total alkalinity. Simply dip the strip in the water and remove immediately. Hold horizontally for 10 seconds (do not shake excess water from the strip), then compare pH, free chlorine, and total alkalinity (in that order) against the colour chart on the test strip bottle.

Blue Horizons Ultimate Multifunctional Floating Dispenser 1500g is perfect for large above ground pools or in-ground swimming pools. Specifically recommended for pools between 5,000 gallons (22,700 litres) and 15,000 gallons (68,175 litres). As a guide, an 18ft round pool that is 48 inches deep contains 4661 Gallons (21,182 litres). The dispenser comes fully loaded with chlorine - so there is no need to touch any chemicals in the process, simply place into your swimming pool and let the dispenser do the work!

  Diirections of Use: Prior to using this product, ensure PH level is in the ideal range of 7.2 to 7.6. You may need to shock dose before use to establish a chlorine level in the water quickly. You can use Sodium Hypochlorite (liquid chlorine) or Calcium Hypochlorite to achieve this.  Ideal for pools up to 5,000 gallons (22,700 Litres). Remove the two perforated sections of the label marked with 'tear here' and also remove the two security seals. To choose your setting and therefore the rate that the dispenser will dissolve in the pool. As a guide (only) use the x small setting for pools up to 3,000 gallons and small setting for pools above 3,000 gallons. If Free Chlorine levels are outside the desired 1-3mg/l (ppm) range - either too high or too low then adjust the base to expose to more chlorine or less. This is only a guide, as a number of factors affect chlorine level including bather load, weather, rain etc.  Place the dispenser in an upright position in the pool and hold for a few seconds until the cartridge fills with water then release to float on the pool surface. Do not submerge the dispenser completely or block the vent holes. The dispenser will tip over when spent. A tilting dispenser at a 45 degree angle is an indication of imminent replacement required and sanitiser output diminishing. When removing the spent dispenser, cut open the base and place remianing tablets in the weir or skimmer basket.

Blue Horizons pH Minus granules enables you to reduce your pools pH to the ideal pool pH level, which is between 7.2 - 7.6, promoting bather comfort, optimum chemical efficiency and protection of pool plant equipment. Test the pH of your pool water if it is above 7.6, use pH minus to reduce it.
Blue Horizons pH Minus Granules Application Instructions:1. Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10ls) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned 'on', preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution.2. After a minimum of 8 hours, recheck the pH level and if necessary repeat the treatment until the ideal pH is established. Please note a number of treatments may be required.
